Ronald M. Boyd

Mr. Ronald M. "Butch" Boyd, 67, of Salina, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, in Salina. He was born Dec. 8, 1941, in Detroit, Mich., the son of Walter and Marie (Marson) Boyd. Butch was a high school graduate. He married Glynis M. Dawe in April 1965. Mr. Boyd was a retired fabricator at Great Plains, Salina, after nore than 20 years.

Butch is survived by his daughters, Karry (Brad) Deschner, of Great Bend, and Tracie (Kelly) Schneider, of Salina; son, Ron (Mary) Boyd, of Kipp; sisters, Jeanette Allison, Alice D'Angelo and Denise Harper, all of Michigan; brothers, Walter, George, James and Dan Boyd, all of Michigan; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Glynis M. Boyd; brother, Jerry Boyd; and grandson, Justin Deschner.

Cremation will take place, and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
