Elsie V. Beery

HAYS -- Elsie V. Beery, 90, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009. She was born Jan. 16, 1919, in Montezuma, to Earl and Elsie Bindley. Survivors include her sons, Burton, of Gorham, and Ben and wife Patricia, of Whiteland, Ind.; twin sister, Edna English, of Cimarron; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; brothers, Lyle, Winnie and Bill Bindley; and sisters, Marie Nichols and Evelyn Estes. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today, July 3, at Cimarron Cemetery, Cimarron. Memorials may be made to Hays Good Samaritan Center, Hays, in care of Cline's Mortuary, Hays.
