Oscar Alvarado, 49, of Salina, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010. Mr. Alvarado was born Oct. 30, 1960, in New York City to the late Armando and Felicita (Osinaldi) Alvarado. He was a truck driver at Lanier Trucking, Wichita.
On July 7, 2007, Oscar was married to Karen D. Ricks. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his daughter, Flecia Bergmeier, of Manhattan; a son, Aaron, of Salina; two sisters, Magda Alvarado, of Idaho Falls, and Aurea Alvarado, of Pittsburg, Pa.; and a brother, Armando, of New York City.
Memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, with the Rev. Roy Rawls officiating. There will be no visitation.
