COURTLAND - Russell "Rusty" Nelson, 89, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at Belleville. He was born June 27, 1922, in Courtland to John and Hilda (Anderson) Nelson. He was preceded in death by his wife, A. Josephine, in 2007. He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Christian) Grover, of Punta Gorda, Fla., Gayle (Jim) Hudson and Lynette (Jake) Englebert, all of Courtland; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Marvin (Ila) Nelson, of Mankato. Visitation will be noon-9 p.m. today at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Ada Lutheran Church, Courtland. Burial will be in Ada Lutheran Cemetery.
