MOUNDRIDGE -- Reuben Krehbiel, 92, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at Pine Village. He was born Jan. 12, 1920, in McPherson County to Felix J. and Katie Goering Krehbiel. He was an educator and farmer. He married Laura Goering on July 6, 1941, at Moundridge. She died Feb. 6, 2003. He married Florine Stucky on May 29, 2004 at Moundridge. She died June 14, 2008. Survivors include sons, Mark (Sherry) Krehbiel, of Salina, and Ken (Cheri) Krehbiel, of McPherson; daughters, Marcia Hiebert and Greta (Michael) Koehn, all of McPherson; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Zerger Beck, of Moundridge. Committal service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, in the Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in Eden Mennonite Church. There will be no visitation. Memorial donations are suggested to the Mennonite Central Committee, in care of the Moundridge Funeral Home.
