DOWNS - Colleen L. Montgomery, 56, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at her home in Downs. She was born Oct. 2, 1955, to Don and Ruth (DeBey) Montgomery in Beloit.
Colleen attended Downs High School and was a member of United Methodist Church, Downs. She worked as a bookkeeper at Thomas and Sons Trucking, Downs.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Heather Hancock, of Claremore, Okla.; a son, Brandon Hancock, of Claremore; and a brother, Don Montgomery, of Tipton.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at United Methodist Church, Downs. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in the Downs Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established to the Downs Carnegie Library. Domoney’s Funeral Home, 817 Morgan Ave., Downs, is in charge of arrangements.
