Salina Journal
Robbin Mae Ward, 23, of Salina, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009. She was born Oct. 13, 1986, in Wellington. She was a student at Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina.
Robbin was the most loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and true friend that there has ever been.
She seemed to have the gift of bringing joy into anyone’s life that had the honor of meeting her. Her passion for life and the drive that she had seemed to make everyone around her better. Robbin was my Angel and now everyone has the blessing of having her with them in spirit.
I hope her spirit lives on in each and every one of you. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. I know she’s watching out for all of us now.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clell and Elva Bannister. Survivors include her husband, Burl Ward; son, Spencer Ward; sisters, Abbey and Callie Bannister; parents, Scott and DeAnne Bannister; and grandparents, Bill and Hazel Oathout.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at New Community Christian Church, 530 E. Cloud, Salina 67401, with Pastor Dave Henry officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at the church, where a memorial video will be presented.
Memorial contributions, in Robbin’s memory, may be made to the Spencer Ward Educational fund, in care of Sunflower Bank.
Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, is handling arrangements.
