STOCKTON -- Gerald D. "Jerry" Stithem, 69, died Thursday, July 2, 2009. Survivors: wife, Edna; mother, Rosalie Stithem; son, Mike; daughters, Doris Willey, Darlene Walker, Dorothy Plante, Michelle Gaddy, Dixie Dibble and Melissa DeBey; brothers, Gene and Jack; sister, Reta Cain; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: father, Clifford; brother, Ron; a grandson; and a son-in-law. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Moore-Overlease Funeral Home, Stockton. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, at the funeral home. Memorials: Jerry Stithem Memorial fund, in care of the funeral home.
