Marjorie E. (Lind) Simone

McPHERSON — Marjorie E. (Lind) Simone, 81, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009. She was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Herington to Arvid B. and Vera R. (Book) Lind. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Lind; and sister, Lois Dent. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Simmons (Leonard Ray), of Winter Garden, Fla.; son, Terry Klein (Carole Drong), of Mystic, Conn.; brother, Wayne Lind, of Yuma, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, in care of the funeral home.
