Survivors: wife, Marjorie; stepson, Kent (Kathy) Kuhlmann; stepdaughters, Dianne (Raymond) Cherry and Debra (Lance) Van Sickle; brother, Otto (Rita), of South Sioux City, Neb.; sisters, Hilda (Joseph) Maichel and Cecilia (Donald) Ranum; sisters-in-law, Shirley Deichert, Marilyn (Charles) Bertholf and Theresa Deichert; four stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. Visitation: noon to 8 p.m. today at Simmons-Rentschler Mortuary, Smith Center. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 19, at American Lutheran Church, Smith Center. Memorials: church.
