Armbrust seeks write-in position at Ell-Saline

BROOKVILLE -- After seeing that no one had filed as a candidate for the at-large position on the Ell-Saline School Board, Delbert Armbrust is asking people to write him in on the ballot on Tuesday.

Armbrust has been an at-large member of the board for the past four years.

He said he didn't file as a candidate because he didn't want to prevent from anyone running who didn't think they could beat an incumbent.

Armbrust has been involved in the Ell-Saline site council since it was created, served on a citizens committee looking at building expansion in the district and has been heavily involved in the Cardinal Foundation.

He has also attended the Kansas Association of School Board's annual meeting all four years he's been on the board.
