Man charged with DUI after hitting cars
A Salina man whose car struck three parked vehicles, one of which then knocked over three mailboxes, was arrested for driving under the influence early this morning.
A car driven by John P. Bengtson, 60, 853 Windsor, crashed into the vehicles in the 700 block of Elm Street at 3:55 a.m. today, according to a Salina Police Department report. The parked vehicles were owned by Lawrence J. Beggs, Daniel P. LaCourse and Vance S. Hopp.
