COLBY — Two men in a pickup being pursued by a Colby police officer were injured Sunday when their truck went into the ditch and rolled three times three miles east of Colby.
Michael J. Murphy, 33, Oakley, and Ryan L. Murphy, 21, Colby, were taken to Citizen’s Medical Center. A hospital spokeswoman said no information could be released on their condition.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, the pickup was traveling east on Thomas County Road R at 2:10 a.m. Sunday while being pursued by a police patrol car. Michael Murphy, the driver, was ejected from the truck.
