McPherson trolley tours to start soon

McPHERSON -- Historical tours of McPherson on the city's new trolley will be available at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays from May 30 through Aug. 15.

The 45-minute tours begin at the McPherson Opera House and proceed through McPherson's historic residential area, to the two local colleges -- McPherson College and Central Christian College -- and to the National Cooperative Refinery Association, McPherson County Courthouse, Lakeside Park and the downtown area.

The tours are narrated by local volunteers.

Cost for the tour is $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and students ages 18 and younger.
