A Salina woman was arrested Thursday, accused of stealing a New Cambria woman’s ATM card and making 17 unauthorized purchases. Donyell M. Smith, 29, 1012 Johnstown, Apt. D, was arrested after she was identified by sheriff’s office employees and a Crimestoppers tipster as the person using the card. The tipster and employees recognized the woman in a surveillance camera photo distributed to the media, said Sheriff Glen Kochanowski. Smith is accused of withdrawing a total of $1,470 from a bank account belonging to Milton C. Sexton and Yvonne R. Sexton on Jan. 19, according to sheriff’s office reports.
