COLBY — A Colby teenager and a Hoxie woman were injured when their vehicles collided at the junction of U.S. Highway 24 and U.S. Highway 83, 10 miles east of Colby, at 7:49 a.m. Thursday, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. Randa L. Lewis, 18, of Colby, was reported to be in serious condition at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Thursday evening. Thresia A. Weber, 39, of Hoxie, was taken to Citizen’s Medical Center in Colby. A hospital spokeswoman said Weber had also been transferred elsewhere, but her location could not be confirmed.
