Woman injured when motorcycle struck by deer

A Wisconsin woman was injured Saturday when the motorcycle she was riding on was struck by a deer in Saline County.

Victoria M. Clark, 51, of Lyndon Station, Wis., was taken to Salina Regional Health Center after a deer ran from the shoulder and struck the motorcycle she was riding on at 7:40 p.m. on Interstate Highway 135 at the Bridgeport exit, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.

No information could be obtained about her condition Sunday.

Tad W. Clark, 35, of Lyndon Station, Wis., the driver of the motorcycle, was not injured, the report said. Neither was wearing a helmet, but both wore eye protection, the report said.
