CHAPMAN — Rock singer and guitarist Gavin Rossdale is the surprise performer today following the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” reveal of the new home built for Patrick and Crystal Tutwiler and family.
A big crowd is expected at 11:30 a.m. when “Extreme Makeover” star Ty Pennington and the Tutwilers yell, “Move that bus!” to reveal their home. The family had been on a cruise to the Bahamas.
Chapman school superintendent Tony Frieze said Rossdale will perform at 4 p.m. in the park, where “Extreme Makeover” crews built a community center/safe house and did extensive landscaping.
Rossdale played with the former rock band Bush. Mixed into Rossdale’s high profile life was his 2002 marriage to recording artist Gwen Stefani. They have two sons.
