This little owl is seen making himself at home Monday night at the Darrel and Denise Hoeffner residence at 101 W. Cloud. According to the Hoeffners, It was about 7:15 p.m., and Darrell had just lit the coals so they could grill hamburgers for dinner when this owl dropped in for dinner, or maybe to just get warm.

This little owl is seen making himself at home Monday night at the Darrel and Denise Hoeffner residence at 101 W. Cloud. According to the Hoeffners, It was about 7:15 p.m., and Darrell had just lit the coals so they could grill hamburgers for dinner when this owl dropped in for dinner, or maybe to just get warm.
Darrell had lit the coals and was coming back outside to put the meat on the grill when he spotted this uninvited dinner guest. Denise grabbed her camera and the owl waited until his picture was taken, about 5-7 minutes. Finally, Darrell needed to get dinner going so he stepped closer toward the grill and the owl flew away.
