Oakley woman hurt in crash

BREWSTER — An Oakley woman was taken to Citizens Medical Center in Colby after the car she was driving and a tractor collided Monday near Brewster.
No information was available on the condition of Dorothy J. Evans, 74, a hospital spokeswoman said.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Evans was driving south on Kansas Highway 184 at 2:20 p.m. and Richard E. Emig, 63, Goodland, was driving his tractor west on U.S. Highway 24 when they collided. Emig was not injured.
Evans and Emig were both wearing seat belts, according to the report.
