KACCRA has a new name

The Kansas Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, or KACCRA, announced this week that after 20 years it is retiring its name and will now be known as Child Care Aware of Kansas.

A new website, ks.childcareaware.org, also was launched.

Child Care Aware of Kansas and its seven regional member agencies include Child Care Connection of Garden City; Child Start, Inc., of Wichita; Cloud County Community College Early Childhood Resource and Referral of Concordia and Salina; ERC Resource and Referral of Topeka; Child Care Aware® of Northwest Kansas of Hays; The Family Conservancy of Kansas City; and The Family Resource Center of Pittsburg.
