Motorcycle rider injured while being chased

Few details were available Monday of a crash that occurred Saturday after a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper pursued a motorcyclist into Assaria.
Trooper J.L. Riedel, KHP public resource officer, said the motorcycle driver lost control and struck a parked patrol car after being pursued by a McPherson County trooper. No other information was available.
The report did not appear on the highway patrol’s crash log, which records incidents in which a person requires medical treatment.

Chased by the KS Highway Patrol after failure to stop; hits parked patrol car and flies over the handlebars and into jail. Some cycle riders are just plain STU-PID!

I agree completly with cowgirl,also on the signs,I think they have it backward.It should read motorcyclist!Cars are everywhere.

It does sound a little strange but I must say that some motorcycle drivers are a little dangerous. I see those signs that say motorcyles are everywhere, but I've had guys cut me off and pass illegally all the time (not all but quiet a few here in KS). I wish some motorcycle drivers would drive a little safer. Hope this guy is ok.

shouldn't this read Motorcycle rider injured while trying to elude arrest? He's being chased for a reason. If he was smart he would not of tried to out run law enforcement. Just got him in more trouble doing what he did. Was all that worth getting himself hurt or even killed ? I think not.

This stupid guy came by our house on 81 hwy in excess of 120mph with the trooper in pursuit. Luckily no bystanders were hit during this chase. He deserves whatever punishment they give him.
