DREAM Act march postponed
A march and rally in support of the proposed federal DREAM Act has been postponed, according to organizer Alicia Salgado.
The march and rally had been planned for Saturday afternoon downtown, but Salgado said Tuesday the event was being pushed back, likely to a weekend in October, to allow time for better organization.
The DREAM Act would provide a way for people who entered the country illegally as children to earn citizenship by getting an education or serving in the military.
