Clay Center man wins $20,000 in lottery

CLAY CENTER — Steve Liby, of Clay Center, won $20,000 Tuesday in the Kansas Lottery’s $2 Bonus Crossword instant scratch game, according to a news release from the lottery.
Liby, who has worked for Clay County for 35 years, told lottery officials he plans to pay bills with his winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Short Stop 22 in Clay Center.
