Large amount of marijuana found in vehicle

OBERLIN — Bond was set at $300,000 each Thursday for two people arrested in Decatur County for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
According to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, Francisco A. Duenas-Castaneda, 35, and Laura Y. Salcido-Cruz, 21, were in a vehicle stopped on Interstate Highway 70 by the Kansas Highway Patrol Wednesday. The vehicle had a temporary tag with no expiration date on their vehicle.
Troopers searched the vehicle and found 264 pounds of marijuana.
