Blue Cross provides grants for wellness programs
Several schools in north-central Kansas have received grants from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation of Kansas to fund various wellness programs for students.
Statewide, the foundation donated $53,000 to 57 school programs.
Grant recipients include Clifton-Clyde School District, $1,000; Minneapolis Grade School, $1,000; Bennington Elementary, $940; Quinter Elementary, $1,000; Southeast of Saline, $939.87; Phillipsburg Elementary, $1,000; Concordia Elementary and Middle School, $1,000; Claflin Elementary $1,000 and; Hope School District, $1,000.
