4N6 KIX in Quinter

QUINTER — “4N6 KIX” reads the license tag on Sue Ann Tebo’s car. And as of a couple of weeks ago, the tag has a double meaning — not only that “forensics kicks,” but also noting that the Quinter High School forensics team she coaches has claimed four state titles in six years. That kicks, too. The team won the state 2A forensics championship in 2004 and 2005, took second in 2006, won the 1A championship in 2007, took second in 2008, and won the 1A state championship this year. “People are like, ‘Oh, great, Quinter’s here,’” freshman LaVonne Inloes said of the school’s reputation. “It’s awesome.”
