MILTONVALE — A Concordia woman was killed Saturday when the sport utility vehicle she was riding in rolled multiple times after the driver swerved to miss a cow in the road.
Lori J. Lamer, 39, died, and Brian E. Lamer, 46, also of Concordia, suffered a broken arm in the crash that occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 24 just east of Miltonvale, said Cloud County Sheriff Brian Marks.
Marks said Brian Lamer swerved to avoid a cow in the road and lost control of the vehicle, which rolled multiple times.
Both were wearing seat belts, Marks said.
