Kirwin man killed in crash
Phillips County man dies in one-car crash
A Phillips County man died Saturday morning following a one-vehicle crash in Rooks County.
Jimmy Dean Devey, 62, of Kirwin, was driving a 2002 Honda CRV station wagon north around 5 a.m. on 28 Road, about 6 miles north of Woodston, when he lost control on an icy curve.
His car skidded on the ice, hit the north ditch and rolled, coming to rest on the driver's side.
It is not known whether he was wearing a seat belt, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
