Hoxie teen ejected from pickup truck dies
GRAINFIELD -- A 19-year-old Hoxie man was killed early Tuesday when he was ejected from his pickup truck after the vehicle overturned a mile west of Grainfield.
Nathan E. Barnhart was driving west on U.S. Highway 40 when he lost control of his truck and entered the ditch, where the vehicle overturned about 4:20 a.m., according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.
Barnhart was not wearing a seat belt, the report said.
