WESTFALL — Danika Pasley, 3, who was injured in a crash Wednesday near Westfall, is improving in a Wichita hospital, said her father, Lonnie Pasley, Tescott. He said Danika will remain in Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus.
Danika’s twin brother, Justin, was released from the hospital Thursday night, Lonnie Pasley said.
Their mother, Michele Pasley, 31, was eastbound on Grain Drive Wednesday when the minivan she was driving ran into the back of a loaded wheat truck. The minivan came to rest in a ditch and caught fire. The wheat truck driver, Lincoln County commissioner and farmer Steve Errebo, rescued Pasley and her three children from the van. He was not injured.
The other child, 1-year-old Loni Pasley, and Michele Pasley, were listed as having possible injuries, but they were not treated.
