A Russell Regional Hospital spokeswoman said no information could be provided about the condition of Henry R. Duryee, 78.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Duryee was driving east on Fourth Street at 8:50 a.m. when he failed to yield at the stop sign at Ober Street and struck an International truck driven by Michael W. Lewis, 49, Rush Center. Lewis was not injured, according to the report.
