Salina city commissioners will consider spending $30,647 on joint digital aerial photography with Saline and Dickinson counties on Monday.
The meeting begins at 4 p.m. in Room 107 of the City-County Building, but commissioners will hold a study session at 2:30 in Room 107B. A full agenda may be viewed on the city's Web site, www.salina-ks.gov.
During the study session, commissioners will discuss a financial trend monitoring system. The system would collect financial information about different aspects of the city's revenues and expenditures over a period of time.
The total cost for the Saline County-Salina mapping would come in at $99,700, with Salina picking up the tap for 226 square miles.
The funds for the low-level flights by The Sidwell Company, a Dickinson County contractor, were budgeted in the capital improvement plan for vehicles and equipment.
Commissioners also will consider approving up to $150,000 for crack and joint sealing for several cracks in city streets.
