n A special Men's Sunday and Hymn Sing worship service is 9:30 a.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, 843 Lewis.

Hymn histories will be shared followed by the singing of many favorite hymns.

n Free training to area clergy and their staffs is available to help churches to learn what they can do to help trauma survivors.

The training program, "Healing Relationships," is from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, at Central Kansas Mental Health Center, 809 Elmhurst.

n CONCORDIA -- Jack Hager, ministry liaison with Midland Ministries, St. Joseph, Mo., will speak at a Teens for Christ Rally 7 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Brown Grand Theatre.

The Christian band, Cloverton, will perform. The event is open to the public. An offering will be taken.

n "Making a World of Difference" is the theme for the 64th annual Missionary Conference, on Oct. 18 through 25 at Salina Bible Church, 2100 Quincy.

Sunday school on the 18th and 25th is at 9:45 a.m., with morning worship at 10:45 and evening worship at 6:45 p.m. Services are 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 19, 20, 22 and 23.

On Oct. 21, missionaries will serve in the AWANA clubs, a ministry for youths from age 3 through high school.

Special music is planned each evening, with mini-concerts Oct. 20 by the church youth and Oct. 22 by the Salemsborg Gospel Quartet.

The church and missionary men will have breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 24, and the women plan a tea at 2 p.m., both at the church. Reservations for the breakfast and the tea can be made until noon Oct. 22, by calling the church, 823-9138.

n SOLOMON -- A soup supper and bazaar, offered by the Solomon Methodist Women, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at the church.

An offering will be taken.

n First Baptist Church, 843 Lewis, plans a craft show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 24.

Vendors can rent space by calling Lois Show at 820-6566.

n WELLS -- Rev. Susan Carlson, a registered nurse, hypnotherapist, and founder of the Kundalini Support Network, will present a "Kundalini Awakening" workshop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 at Sunset Spiritualist Church, Wells.

Kundalini is an ancient form of meditation. Carlson is from Denver.

An offering will be taken to raise money for the Build a New Bath House campaign.
