Packrat Smokes owner pleads to misdemeanor charge

Most of the charges against the co-owner of a Salina business where herbal potpourri used to be sold were dropped Monday, and Brian J. Schultz instead pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Attorney W. Rex Lorson, who represented Schultz, withdrew a motion to dismiss the state’s case against the co-owner of Pack Rat Smokes before Schultz entered his plea in Saline County District Court.
