Wadi Walkers, a music ministry team from Central Christian College in McPherson, Kan., will present a program at the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, 304 W. Grand, Salina at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15.

The program and music is based on Scripture, and their music has a distinct Jewish flavor with many minor harmonies and a driving rhythm, complete with a shofar, tambourines and other instruments.

The team consists of eight students: Ben Jones, San Jose, Cal.; Ruth Perry, Osaka, Japan; Justin Powers, Wilson, Kan.; Im Schiro, Cheyene, Wym.; Lindsey Shaw, McPherson, Kan.; Jamie Taylor, Topeka, Kan.; Kelley Watson, Kingwood, Tex.; and Amanda Wright, Dodge City, Kan.

The Wadi Walkers are directed by Central Christian College's professors Sylvia Wolcott, chair of the Fine Arts Department, and her husband, Dr. Robert Walcott, chair of the Religion Department.
