Michael J. Myers, 26, was traveling northbound on Burma, four miles south of Smolan, about noon Sunday when his car left the road for undetermined reasons, said a Kansas Highway Patrol report. The car struck a box culvert and overturned.
Myers was transported by LifeWatch helicopter to Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis campus, where he was listed in fair condition Sunday afternoon.
Myers was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
