Belleville boy, 2, dies after being run over by tractor

SCANDIA - A 2-year-old boy from Belleville died Saturday night of injuries he suffered when he was run over by a payloader tractor near Scandia.
Cayden Michael Dunstan was with his father, Earl Dunstan, as he was strapping down large hay bales that had been loaded onto a semitrailer.
The payloader was being backed away from the trailer when Cayden ran into its path and was run over shortly after 7 p.m., said Dave Cox, an investigator with the Republic County Sheriff’s Department.
Cayden was taken by his parents, Earl and Crystal Dunstan, to the Republic County Hospital in Belleville. A LifeWatch helicopter had landed to fly Cayden to a hospital in Omaha, but he died about 15 minutes later, Cox said, before he could be taken there.
Cox did not release the name of the payloader driver.
