THEFT -- A red Toro Proline 44-inch self-propelled lawn mower belonging to Craig A. Harder was taken from a carport in the 200 block of North Columbia Avenue between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 5 p.m. Wednesday; $1,000 loss.

nA wooden antique buffet table and an oak octagon coffee table belonging to Mary Jo Heath were taken from a house in the 500 block of Montrose Street between noon May 9 and noon Wednesday; $600 loss.

INJURY CRASH -- Theodore W. Schmitt, 38, of Salina, was treated at Salina Regional Health Center Thursday after his pickup truck and a truck driven by Joe L. Wright, 45, of Brookville, collided at the intersection of Link and Water Well roads at 7:45 a.m. four miles east of Brookville. Schmitt's truck rolled onto the driver's side, entrapping him, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. Wright was not injured, according to the report. Both men were wearing seat belts.
