THEFT -- A laptop computer, video game system and video games belonging to Dawn M. Herbert were taken between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday from 302 S. Fourth and a door was kicked in; $200 damage, $1,750 loss.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY -- The back tires of a pickup belonging to Brandon R. Clintsman, of Assaria, were cut between midnight and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday while the pickup was parked at 619 S. Fourth; $600 damage.

nThe windshield and back window of a car belonging to Marilyn I. Espinosa, 128 W. Neal, were shattered between 3:30 and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday while it was parked in the 100 block of West Neal Avenue; $700 damage.
