BURGLARY -- A 40-inch, flat-screen, Samsung LED television and a Magnavox DVD player belonging to Loretta J. Gorrell were stolen from 1900 Highland between 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Thursday; $2,150 loss.
A personal safe that contained cash and a wedding ring belonging to Robert L. Leiker were stolen from 3201 S. Holmes between 10:30 a.m. and 3:07 p.m. Thursday; $5,100 loss and $100 damage to a door.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE, THEFT -- A black and silver JVC CD player, a side-view mirror, a driver's window and dash components in a vehicle belonging to Terrance M. Crough were stolen or damaged while the vehicle was parked at 2939 Florida between midnight Wednesday and 12:06 a.m. Thursday; $850 loss.
A public rest room building and a curfew sign in Assaria and two Salina Journal vending machines were damaged with spray paint between midnight Sunday and 1 a.m. Monday; $765 damage.
THEFT -- Cash, three money bags, a counter clicker and black markers were stolen from Ice Bar, 141 N. Santa Fe, between 10 a.m. Tuesday and 3:10 p.m. Wednesday; $1,110 loss.
THEFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE -- A 1992 Ford Ranger belonging to Arlen N. Dority was stolen from 232 N. Santa Fe between 9 and 9:45 p.m. Wednesday; $3,000 loss for vehicle and contents.
FORGERY -- An altered Carol Lee Donuts check was cashed at Great Plains Federal Credit Union, 605 S. Ohio, between 7:30 and 8 a.m. Wednesday; $600 loss.
INJURY CRASH -- David R. Styles, 22, of 2405 Blakemore, was treated at Salina Regional Health Center after the bike he was riding and a car driven by James A. McNelly, 17, 212 N. 12th, collided in the 700 block of South Ohio Street at 7:16 p.m. Thursday.
