Bird City teenager injured in Sunday wreck

BIRD CITY - A teenager was injured in an early morning wreck Sunday two miles west of Bird City.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Dalton Ray Magnani, 17, of Bird City, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 36 at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday when his pickup truck went onto the south shoulder, crossed both lanes of traffic and overturned several times before stopping on its top in the north ditch.
Magnani, who was wearing a seat belt, was airlifted to a hospital in Denver with unknown injuries, the report said.
