About two dozen cases of criminal damage from BBs fired at vehicles and at least one house have been cleared with the arrests of two 18-year-old boys, Salina police said Tuesday. Officers arrested the pair after a citizen saw someone firing a BB pistol at a vehicle and notified police, Deputy Chief Carson Mansfield said. The pistol was recovered. Each of the young men is facing multiple counts of criminal damage to property, Mansfield said. The two arrested were Joshua R. Mudd, 18, Smolan, and Carl M. Jacobs, 18, 737 Fairdale Apt. 5H. Mansfield said the damage from the BB shooting spree is estimated at $10,000. Damage was reported throughout Salina.
