Salina man arrested after argument

A Salina man was arrested early Friday morning after an argument during which he is accused of pointing a gun at his mother. According to Salina Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield, police were called to 106 E. Minneapolis about 4 a.m. Once there, they were told Janet Levine, 45, had been arguing with her son, Matthew Levine, 19, about a fight he had been in, and damage to a window. They were also told that at one point in the argument, Matthew Levine pointed a gun at Janet Levine. During the disturbance, a guitar for the Rock Band video game and a cell phone were damaged.

they took out paddling in 1986 and respect for authority reflects that ..not always the answer but a good heating of the back-side should always be an option..

Kids always think their so grown. That's a scary thought to know that the world has come to this. You almost can't trust anyone.

kids are the way they are now because the state of ks will substantiate you on child abuse charges if you spank your kids...even if its on a regular basis! we grew up with getting our behinds warmed when needed, why use caution now??? and the crime rate was reduced about 3 times what it is now with a good ol fashioned but kickin for gettin sideways!

First of all I think that kids these days don't have the punishments that they should. If my 19 year old where to point a gun in my face his dad would take him out back and show him what a punishment is with a old fashion butt spanking. And what made it get to that point that he thought it was ok to do such a thing to his mother the one that gave him life.

From the sounds of the argument details,and the fact a video game and cell phone were damaged, sounds like the 19 yr old has some anger issues. Where did he get the gun? Wheres dad?
