11/9/2009

A press conference is planned at 1:30 p.m. today at the M.J. Kennedy Terminal Building at the Salina Airport.
Tim Rogers, executive director of the Salina Airport Authority, will address the media on behalf of the city of Salina, Saline County, Salina Area Chamber of Commerce and the Salina Airport Authority, according to a news release issued Monday morning from the airport authority.
Representatives of the public entities will be present at the conference.
Dennis Lauver, president and CEO of the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, noted on his Facebook page today that he planned to “help deliver bad news” later today and has “been thinking about the people impacted.”
