Salina hospice to have annual fall sale
Antique furniture, distressed furniture and slightly used items of all kinds will be available at the 13th annual Hospice of Salina Fall Sale, set for Saturday and Nov. 2 at Mariamante at Marymount, the old Marymount College cafeteria at the corner of Iron and Marymount streets.
Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Nov. 2.
Complimentary apple cider, coffee and baked goods will be served, and pies, cakes, candies, cinnamon rolls and other food items will be offered for sale.
In addition to the furniture items, volunteers have created tea towels, linens and other handcrafted items to be offered for sale. Drawing items include a bench made from an antique bed frame and two quilts.
Donations for the sale may be taken to the Kaye Pogue Hospice Center, 730 Holly. If you'd like items to be picked up, call 825-1717.
Proceeds go toward purchasing medications, equipment, supplies and services for Hospice patients.
