10/22/2009

Kansas Wesleyan University’s board of trustees is bringing two candidates for college president to campus Tuesday through Oct. 30 for on-campus interviews.
The candidates are Richard Hanson, president of Waldorf College, Forest City, Iowa, and Fletcher Lamkin, an independent consultant in university financial management.
Before going to Waldorf College, Hanson served as vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college at Augustana College; and associate vice president for academic affairs and associate director of human development at the North Dakota Extension Service.
Before becoming a consultant, Lamkin was vice president for institutional advancement at Dominican University of California; president of Westminster College; and a professor, department head and dean of the academic board at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was a career U.S. Army officer.
Both men have completed doctorate degrees.
