City offering online utility billing

3/6/2010

The city of Salina is now offering online utility account access.

The program offers up-to-date account information for water, wastewater and sanitation services. The secure site will allow customers to view and pay their water utility bill online using a debit card, credit card or E-check at no additional charge. MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit cards and debit cards will be accepted.

Customers also may choose to receive e-mail confirmation for the payment from the city.

Other new features include the ability to view and print billing statements, payments, consumption, historical information and graphs. In addition, limited account information such as e-mail address and telephone number may be updated by the customer. Customers with multiple accounts may combine those accounts under a single log-in ID.

To register, visit www.salina-ks.gov and select "Water Bill Pay Online" from the side menu. Customers will need their account number and cycle-route, which may be found at the top of their printed utility bill. An active e-mail address will be required to establish a password and PIN in order to access the account.
