Man injured in crash near Hoxie
HOXIE -- Leroy Yazzie Tallman was injured Tuesday night when the pickup truck he was driving rolled in a ditch about six miles north of Hoxie.
Tallman, 33, of Antonito, Colo., was taken to Sheridan County Health Complex in Hoxie. His condition was not released.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that Tallman was northbound at 11:36 p.m. on Kansas Highway 23 when the truck entered the east ditch. He returned to the highway and then entered the west ditch, where the pickup truck rolled and came to rest on its top, facing west.
Tallman was not wearing a seat belt, according to the patrol report.
