Cash, other items taken from truck
About $3,500 in cash and checks and other items were taken Monday from a truck at 102 S. Presley.
According to Deputy Chief Carson Mansfield, of the Salina Police Department, someone entered an unlocked garage between midnight and 9 a.m. Monday and broke into a truck belonging to homeowner Jeff E. Maes.
Taken from the truck was $3,500 in cash and checks, debit and credit cards, sunglasses, a flashlight, assorted CDs and Maes' driver's license.
Estimated loss was $4,513, Mansfield said. There have been no arrests.
